I am a graduate student at UofT since 2004 co-advised by Adam Anderson (Psychology) and Geoffrey Hinton (Computer Science). I also dream about playing the guitar and surfing.

Expression of Emotion

My interests are machine learning and neural network approaches to understanding how facial expressions are recognized, how emotions are represented neurally, and how the brain forms internal probabilistic models of the world.
